Heburn Featured Panelist at Schwab Impact® 2016

Level Financial Advisors chief operating officer Michael Heburn will speak on a panel at the prestigious Schwab Impact® 2016 conference this October in San Diego, CA. The four-day conference, designed for Schwab’s institutional advisory firms, brings together top industry executives from around the country.  The event hosts a number of workshops and educational sessions to help advisory firms stay current on the latest technology, regulations, and financial planning strategies in the financial services field.

Heburn will speak about Level’s groundbreaking Blueprint℠ platform that combines Schwab’s Institutional Intelligent Portfolios investment management software with the firm’s dedicated advisory services. The new hybrid approach offers a solution for young professionals who may not have enough assets to garner attention from typical advisory firms that require high minimum balances. Level created Blueprint in late 2015 and has grown the platform to over $1.2 million in assets in a few months. The offering provides automated investment management, rebalancing, tax loss harvesting and a dedicated financial advisor to clients.  Clients can start an account with as little as $5,000.

The firm also bundles this offering with digital money management tools provided through MoneyGuidePro® and Yodlee® — two well-known names in the financial services industry. Clients are offered in-person meetings with a dedicated advisor, along with secure digital tools including mobile apps and verified e-signature. Level has also partnered with Citrix® to provide clients secure file transfers and storage, along with video conferencing capabilities.

Heburn joined Level in 2014 and became a partner with the firm last year.  He oversees the firm’s overall operations and is in charge of the company’s strategic plan.  Part of that plan included the creation of the new platform designed to reach young professionals and millennials.  Level manages $299 million in assets for over 500 households and is based in Amherst, NY.  The firm has been in business since 1980 and recently changed its name from Schroeder, Braxton and Vogt, Inc. as part of its rebranding efforts.

Schwab Impact® 2016 runs from Oct. 24-28 at the San Diego Convention Center.
