Level Financial Advisors was recently listed as one of Western New York’s top women-owned businesses in the most recent edition of Buffalo Business First. The firm’s majority owner, Rosanne Braxton, CFP®, recently celebrated her 29th year with the company. Level Financial is also the only financial services company to make the list, which ranks local employers by the number of local employees.
Rosanne began her career with the firm in 1987 as receptionist. She was promoted to client services manager shortly thereafter, and in 1992 took an ownership stake in the company as vice president. In 2008, she became president and, after the firm’s founder Alan Vogt retired in 2010, she became majority owner.
In the traditionally male-dominated financial advisory industry, two of the firm’s five CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals are female and women make up 66% of the company’s workforce.
